Can you end a marriage without requiring the services of predatory divorce lawyers? As in, a wife and husband having a "gentleman's agreement" to divide children and property?

"at any point in any any negotiation, you need to remain willing to drop everything and just walk away". That is the key to getting a good deal and something that my father always taught that I had a hard time learning as a shy introvert.

"I grew up with a father who successfully launched his own self-funded business and made it look easy." Bullshit, I grew up with such a father and he definitely did not make it look easy. From the insane time requirements and the difficulti

As a computer security nerd these are my recommendations: If you're in SoCal, go here http://twitter.com/hackerdrinkup . My buddy Eliot runs these. Also, the local Defcon and 2600 groups in your area are a good place to go too. And of cou

"99% of the world are schmucks and followers. But 1% are the leaders, creators, inventors. Be the latter, not the former." I try to take his advice to heart, being into research and startups. "Religion is candy for the desperate, and a prof

Dude, chill, I was in the same position when I was 13. It is important to remember to never stop learning. Remember to learn the foundation first: how to program, how computers work, Unix, TCP/IP networking. For electronics, the basics are

It's easier to immigrate, as a foreigner to the USA/Canada/Australia, if you have a PhD. That's really the only reason I'm getting my degree.

My philosophy about lying is like this: first of all, I must be honest with myself. Then, there are one or two people in my life to whom I just don't lie. I think we all should have a friend to whom we can tell "the truth, the whole truth,

Hey, I do remember as a kid being frustrated when people would dumb down when talking to you. Also, when they refused to talk to me about things because "I was too young to be concerned about these things." Pissed me right off. I always lik

I do not go to the UK; as a Vietnamese citizen, I need to have a "transit visa" even if I have a two-hour layover. The laws in the UK are especially ridiculous.

I think that's the disease of security researchers - thinking that Average Joe will give a shit. Average Joe's got more interesting thing to do than some hypothetical threat - unless the threat actually occurs, in which case he'll start sho

In most cases I've known it to be "quite likely" and I found that I do know enough. You can't see the same kind of person over and over and not form patterns. I personally think that you're wrong to think that everyone has the same value. G

A good way to feel better is to think: Wait a sec, what kind of people are these girls? Most likely they are spoiled princesses with a massive sense of entitlement. They, perhaps are not worth much as people. Why is being rejected by them s
