It is usually an option in your bank's app. It depends on the bank though, obviously. If it's not there, you have to be vigilant while using your card (always select the local currency when given the option).

Nowadays banks usually allow you to block DCC (dynamic currency conversion) and it is definitely worth it if you travel. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_currency_conversion

True. I used to play warhammer when I was younger, too. I am not suprised they are still in business, because it's a very enjoyable hobby (And I don't mean just playing, also the painting part of it). And yep, as far as I remememb

That's debatable. It is hard to gain some location awareness and get better at navigating without extra cognitive load. You have to actively train your brain to get better, there is no easy way that I know of.

I too have a Roomba with a camera (the 980) and I am mostly satisfied with it (after ten years I guess I got used to its quirks). I have also recently set-up the LIDAR-equipped 705 for my parents and let me tell you, there is no comparison.

That's not entirely true. Roombas nowadays do come equipped with LIDAR. iRobot scrapped most of their in-house designs and instead chose to use generic OEM parts to build modern robots in 2025. And they are quite good.

I love how easy it is to service a Roomba. And the parts (both original and 3rd party) are plentiful. Mine is from 2017 btw, still doing daily duty.
