On things to fix: While I appreciate the use of history, I promise you I don't need to hold my position on the page for every single letter I type in the search box: http://screencast.com/t/1qFwxlz5 I ended up with a history entry for "se

I'm not really surprised to read this. These cases, I'm sure, are a dime a dozen. I did the same thing in middle school; I pirated Photoshop and started to learn the ins and outs. Led me to getting an internship which led me to getting a jo

Really? I see it more as a framework, similar to any other language's or technology's. To make a bit of a reaching analogy, I don't think HTML is weak just because Twitter's Bootstrap is useful. If you want to roll your own solution every t

If you use Google, you can add w3schools.com to your list of sites blocked in search results. I did this and it makes MDN my top result almost 100% of the time when searching for spec-related information. link: http://www.google.com/review

Bit of mudslinging going on about a "clipper chip." I was much too young to really know what was going on with this (can read up on it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clipper_chip ), but it's interesting to see that there were security

Right, that's what I went to. I figured I'd give their tool a whirl but it's just an obfuscation of git. I guess it might be easier for some but it just gave me error after error.

I wanted to use PHPFog for an ExpressionEngine site but deploys seemed to take an unreasonably long time. Their pseudo-git (CLI task `pf`) is also kind of silly. If you're not going to be doing a lot of dev work and making a lot of commits,

1) If you're in the US like you say you are, this is a resume, not a CV. 2) The "website" link for Food Trucks Near Me does not work. Also, I'm a bit baffled by these graphs. While they look nice, I'm not sure what they're conveying. Is the

This seems like a typical "gotcha" story. TSA has approximately 60,000 employees and to show that one stole something, or even one hundred have stolen things, doesn't raise any real red flags to me. I wish it didn't happen but I don't think

I worked with the guys who built this (we're a DC design studio) and can tell you that it doesn't gracefully degrade simply because it's not supposed to. As some people grasped, this was for a frontend conference where everyone would be exp

The whole article seems to hinge on the following line: "For every five people who authorize an app, I'd guess five will turn away..." The author doesn't seem to have any data to back this statement up so I'd put this in the bucket with the
