Apart from not having the elaboration between slides, I followed it quite well actually. Left/right for chapters, up/down for slides in that chapter?

Reading these comments sounds like people think we're in China. Next we're going to be arresting people who make knives, because you know, people can use them for illegal activities.

Yea I'm wondering this too. Now, I know that DNS can be a little bit scary when you dig into the details, and sure, it can be a little verbose, but it's not so bad that it's immoral!

I'm all for OSS but that would be a privilege, not a right. They're keeping it close to their hearts, where it belongs. Call me a purist but I'm more than happy with the way it's progressing.

Ok, using SCM like git _allows_ you to change the way you are developing. You will still need to use the tool correctly. If people have good reasons for not doing certain things, then fine, but when people are just averse to it because they

I have to agree. With SCM, I feel more in control, and worry less about my code and files getting lost, and feel like I am free to do anything. I tell my developers when they're worried about testing something on code, just create a br

Then you lack the history of your code, storing only the latest version. Though for personal projects, this might not matter, it's all a part of discipline in my eyes. If you see SCM as too time consuming, then I think you need more pr

Are you sure it helps more than console logging? Would you be able to debug something without these tools? Do you think potentially these tools abstract some of the work away from you? Genuine questions, just interested

I'm the same, a few console.logs and I've usually found the problem. Meanwhile, others are attaching debuggers to step through code and try to understand it and I've already been done for 30 minutes and got a cup of tea and s

I have to be honest, they don't look bad at all. From my experience so far, C1 is like working with a microwave, and VC1 (VPS) is much nicer, for €2.99 let's not forget.
