Parallel was born way before docker and modern CI practices. Having one script that did it all was more of a benefit before those become commonplace

Did you created this account just to post this dumbass comment ? 2-3 door cars are supposed to be left via moving the front seat. 4-5 door cars DON'T HAVE THAT FUNCTION, THAT'S WHY LACK OF EMERGENCY RELEASE ON THEM IS SO BAD.

Other cars had frameless windows without that. Tesla as usual tries to reinvent the wheel badly

Frameless windows in general bring plenty of problems, that's why they are rare. And those problems worsen with time as it's far harder to make 2 unconnected (glass from windows to car frame's seal) surfaces mate precisely.

My Civic lever isn't all that hard to open. I believe the invention called "springs" allowed that to happen, no need for electronics.

The efficiency of hardware certainly grew but inefficiency of software grew with it. Why all sites don't load in 500ms or less ? Our compute power grew few magnitudes but sites still take few hundred ms (hell, second) to render on serv

Most people prefer having a house and a garage/shed/garden. They go rural not because they like that but because that's only achievable way to get that. I'd absolutely love be in exact same spot in city but own a house i

That talks more about RAID5/Z1 vs mirroring. You still need 6/Z2 if you want to have reasonable fault tolerance, unless you want to waste ungodly amount of space.

To replace drive in RAID5/6 array, you need to read the entirety of every drive To replace drive in RAID1 you need to read the entirety of one drive. Instead of reading one whole drive worth of stress, you're reading N drives wort

Eh, it can kinda work. If you have 1, 2,3,4TB drives you can make RAID10 out of first GB, then stitch 2TB RAID0 from second and third and RAID1 it with 2TB out of 4th drive. then raid1 out of remaining GB on 3rd and 4th. Then glue it togeth
