Who are proponents of animal cruelty besides dog/cock fighting fans/operators? I doubt that these groups form a majority.

A good example to watch is with the ramifications of the GDPR playing out in the EU. I'm still not sure how I feel about the actual wording and effects of the GDPR, but it does provide a test-bed of sorts.

One pretty cool use of schema on read is Splunk. It wants to take in all the data and let you search, transform and visualize it in a variety of ways some of which you may not know until you start exploring what data you have.

I have not been following any news related to Hungary or really anything going on in Eastern Europe, so when I saw the headline I did not understand the motivating factors. I thought that this might be a progressive policy to help out women

I would say that your suggestion is the way things currently are. Isolating people and condemning them because they cant escape a trap that was designed and built for just this purpose is at best narrow minded (IMO).

I wish I could upvote you more! I had no idea. I don't do this often mostly during long boring conference calls.

I find YAML to be almost unusable. IMO it's just not intuitive. If I get to choose a format for my config files I would only use TOML, it's just better (again IMO).

I agree with this. The main reason is that there are a number of fixed costs mostly relating to building codes which are a good thing (IMO). Building materials are not the main cost (though they are considerable) of building a home.

I don't know if its necessary to lower your standard of living by downsizing (tiny homes). Careful planning and compromise can seriously cut down on the interior space you need. A nomadic lifestyle (van life), while unconventional toda

I agree. I would like to see something like we see with Linux distros. Whether I'm using apt, yum or dnf I can add a third-party repo for my package manager to download and install from. When I was into jailbreaking my phone that is wh

Thank you for your response. I am very familiar with Fedora as well as CentOS/RHEL and that is where most of my experience lies, but I would like to see what it feels like to use a Debian distro as a daily driver. I've been using

Thank you for the response. I do typically try out some of the more obscure distros just to see what they are like, but it is a different story to actually switch my main OS for a while. I really like Fedora and have used it for years. I th

I've seen something similar where a company made a spot for themselves hiring aging cobol programmers and making pretty good money contracting with other companies. I will try to find a link to the article I read.

That is what I am trying to say when I responded to OP, perhaps I phrased it poorly. I think that without constant competition it is equally possible that people would have higher regard for community than less. There are many things to con
