I used Affinity Designer as my only design tool for about a year (UI design) from late 2017. I liked it overall and I liked what Serif has built it around it, even going so far as to offer printed documentation (the Workbooks) and the beaut

I don't use Calendar but was able to spam F5 and after a few times, you seem to get in. About 1 in 15 times I'm managing to load it at the moment. Looks like some instances are live; but capacity is evidently a fraction of what it

Well, it's subjective. For me personally light interfaces make my eyes hurt. Dark themes are, for me, without questions MUCH easier on the eyes, irrespective of what this article claims or the science says. Dark mode is a choice. You d

Writing with PHP is better than ever... and getting better and better. And... you don't need too worry too much about the server, or the request lifecycle, or networking... you just write your app, in a language which is, in my opinio

But the bigger point is why are they even sniffing UA strings? Google, who advocates for everybody else that you should use standards and proper feature detection, still relies on UA whitelists for their own products. Then look at google.co

Typical day, at the end of the day (machine has been up for 8+ hours) I'll have 20-30 tabs (or more) open across 5+ Firefox windows. Some of those tabs will be lightweight, like GitLab issues, forums or webpages I'm building, wher

I don't no, just regular F12. Sadly, I still find Chrome to be much easier to work with for dev than Firefox. Firefox has made great progress lately with the devtools, and the new bits like Grid Inspector are awesome, but it's sad

Find the exact opposite (except for devtools, unfortunately that's still a real issue). Firefox for me is MUCH faster on all hardware I use it on, without or without extensions. Chrome feels bloated and sluggish... Firefox just flies,
