I wouldn't say GitHub is the best system for code review. Pull requests work OK for open source and outside contributors, but I'd rather use Gerrit instead.

The Mac app isn't great. It works, but eats ~0.2 CPU on idle. Nocturne is better: it sets the gamma LUT to tint the screen and nothing else, but you have to switch between Day and Night mode manually.

It's a PR stunt, and a pretty lame one at that. And he should be building a massively cross-platform data sync framework (ala Dropbox, but not just files) -- not a to-do app whose defining feature is sync.

What about earlier-gen 320x240 iPhones (3GS; still in production!) and iPod touches? Does anyone develop with these screen sizes in mind? Reminds me of the "Android is fragmented" cliche.

To be fair, most monospaced typefaces are at least to some degree slab serifs to visually compensate for the extra horizontal space (eg. letters like "l" and "i")

There's a nice script[1] for tweaking OS X's dynamic pager settings to reduce the system's swappiness that helps a bit. Incidentally, if you have both an SSD and HDD installed, you can use it to move the swapfiles to the HDD to reduce wear.
