Using the word “Mentoring” is anthropomorphic and subconsciously makes you think it will learn. It does not, and it is for the human brain a formidable task to remember that something as smart as an LLM does not learn. I keep catching mysel

I find the author shows a lot of assurance in stating that assembler coders didn’t felt their skill atrophying when going to fortran. I am pretty certain that, apart from the writing style, the exact same complaints where made at the time.

Ok, sorry, I missed that. I would add though that while making bad choices is not unique to women, when it comes to mariage, lots of society used to make it so much easier on men. Men could/can escape home in work, hobbies, etc with mu

Severely missing the point here. It’s about being criticised and not recognised while doing so. It’s about lack of choice – and no, when you’re 25, you don’t know what this does to you over time. And when you finally do, it’s too late, you’

The problem has never been the lack of smart people for Chernobyl or Fukushima. Rather the fact that dumb, short sighted people were in power and drove the smart people away. And unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this is going to stop any

I do agree fundamentally, but you are making a lot of assumptions about the parents here. Many do not have parents able to do this. Do they not deserve some protection against such content? Blaming the parents for their failures is not goin

How can you say it’s “not real”?? Tell this to Ukrainians getting hundreds of missiles shot at them. Do you really believe it’s all a hoax and Russia is not invading/bombing/attacking the Ukraine?
