agreed that the example is not the best, a better example would be a picture puzzle that can be verified in just a glance but to build it you need to test all pieces against each other to see if they match.

I think groovy is out of the map for Play v2.0, in any case it's going to be a while for it to be production ready, so I guess the current version still has some life on it.

I guess it's easier if you can locate and chat your prospective users, but what can you do if there is no coffee shop where you can find a group of 5 prospective users? I mean I don't know if they exist, much less I can interview hem

All you say is valid but if you are going to argument that A > B, you cannot say that one of the reasons is "because I like A" or its equivalent "because A just work"
