I just went full vegetarian at the start of the year and my biggest issue at first was I kept trying to find replacements for everything, which just wasn't the same. Some replacements were good, some were just awful, but I always compa

Lived temporarily in Seoul and Osaka last year for three months, then moved to Berlin. The trains were always on time in Seoul and Osaka when I had to take them (though to be fair, not very often) but in the first week of being in Berlin, l

I just realised I've been using this with BTT for months now, it's so natural to me that I just assumed that it was built in. Just checked and saw that it's the only touchpad addition I have in BTT. It's SO convenient.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but can't your ISP only see that you're requesting reddit.com, as long as you're using https? Now sure, if you go to lsd.reddit.com, it can be logged as a subdomain, but anything beyond re

Honestly, it feels like everyone here has aphantasia. Learning about aphantasia some weeks ago made me think I had it, but I honestly think it's just people overestimating how you visualise things in your mind. People make it sound lik

I used Franz for over a year, but had some annoying issue with Slack where I couldn't copy anything with a keyboard shortcut. It was filed as an issue on github but with no activity, so the project looked dead-ish. Has the activity pic

Most of my colleagues used zsh and oh-my-zsh, and as far as I can remember, oh-my-zsh has a mechanism to check for updates every 14 days. I would then set their .zshrc or whatever to end with echo "sleep 0.1" >> ~/

I got interested this summer and followed http://emulator101.com/ to write a Intel 8080 emulator + hardware emulation for Space Invaders. It was a lot of fun. I was then able to use the knowledge gained from that to start o

Interestingly, we replaced our login with magic links only over a year ago. We have roughly 1600-2000 active users, and as far as I know, we've never had anyone request a password login. Not that I think about it.. it's kinda susp

As someone that doesn't really understand any of that, where should I begin to inform myself? I get the basics of equity, but don't really know how funding rounds affects it, dilution or even what a cap table is.
