I dislike like long, nonsensical captchas that confuse people, it's totally annoying. A few years ago i used a 5 digit captcha, but in the background i added faded small letters in various angles.

Maybe the facebook crowd is not what Google's going after. It seems most of the early adopters are geeks and the twiterrati. Remember that facebook did not grow in geek circles.

I disagree. I think asking people to organize their friends gives a very personal touch, and the interface is so intuitive it's hard to be confused. I think people will actually like how they can have control their friends and will fiddle

Anecdotally, I set my linux theme fonts to Comic Sans because i find it fun and easy to read, and I 'm not dyslexic.
