Yes because Moore doesn't make the news any more. This is the first discussion I've seen about him in a while.

He's become incredibly irrelevant to the world now though. Were he to make headlines again, I'd wager that his shady tactics would no longer be discussed in relative obscurity but be actual news.

If and when there's time, I'll have to reach out. I can't imagine a world in which anything running on my laptop needs 40GB of heap allocated. I've only run the Slack desktop app once or twice though. Felt like a beas

Yes. My laptop is a Xeon with 32GB RAM and I can't keep FF alive for more than 4-6 hours. I let upstream (ubuntu) keep packages updated so I'm current.

I use FF as my daily driver. I am forcing myself to do it because I value privacy. Unfortunately FF doesn't make it easy. Chrome may be a memory hog but FF gets OOM killed multiple times a day and every night. I'm not a light user

I had some kid stop me, after I'd checked out at a Target. He wanted to see my receipt and I asked him why. He couldn't really provide an answer without accusing me of being a thief. I not-so-politely asked him if he was accusing

I like your style! So much making could be done. I'm in a ~4000sqft home right now and all I really want is a workshop with and office. I'd downsize to almost nothing if I could detach from the house and do stuff and thing.

Let's really call it what it is then: pro-choice and anti-choice. The issue has less to do with abortion and more to do with bodily autonomy. The anti-choice side feels that once you're impregnated, you should relinquish your inde

If you've ever had a cat, you'd known that an indoor cat is just a cat that hasn't snuck out yet. The cats I have now are indoor. Both try to slip out sometimes and one ran off for a few hours. My cats are rather small and w

This. I will never understand why people opt in to their own surveillance. I typically don't rent but if I bought a home that had this type of spy gear in it, it would be quickly made inoperable. When I sold it, I'd market it as &

That wouldn't make any sense for the article, which focuses on medical data. There's definitely a place to write about and discuss the subjective reasons people have for opting out of having kids (like earth possibly being on fir

I've had the same experience but their last mile deliveries at least have a chance to make it. USPS will _never_ deliver to my door.

Probably one of many but to be clear, I'm not actually returning anything. The packages are _being returned_ as "undeliverable." Having never actually had possession of the item, I'm incapable of actually returning it.
