manhole lets you attach to a running process and muck around. It's a pretty neat feature.

We use docker for on-demand temporary PostgreSQL databases (for testing). Being able to get a clean db in 1 second is pretty neat. In addition to the docker stuff, there's another process that destroys containers over X minutes old.

It doesn't require the user to give out their bank account credentials (which OFX does). It's JSON, not XML. There's only one version. The spec is digestable. And access is read-only, to name a few.
