It depends on when this all happened. In the past a lot more information was available than now.

That is not always true. Possession alone can sometimes be a crime if the crime has strict liability. See https://kellerlawoffices.com/child-pornography-accidental-po...

The issue of what apps & devices trigger when is surprisingly difficult to figure out. I ask about it whenever I interview product managers, so far nobody can explain how it currently works or how it is supposed to work.

Can you give some examples of what you are worried about? I’m a PM working on GDPR issues for the SaaS company I work for, maybe I can give some pointers, but I need more details. In the dark, common issues are around consent of collection

There is no way to not make it a program though. Some issues I see here: - if teachers are allowed to be armed, then as a parent I believe that I have a right to know which of the teachers at my school carry firearms, and I want to be able

The no shampoo plan takes some time to kick in - I think it is a couple weeks. Did you try to power through it for a little bit? As an alternative, there are milder ways to wash your hair, the main thing is to not strip out all the oil from

As a purely practical matter, does it really make sense to prioritize the arming of millions of teachers to handle this? I know a lot of teachers and they are really busy with all the other stuff that they have to do, what would you trade o

I have not made the leap to no soap, but my wife and I have stopped using shampoo and conditioner and it has been no problem at all. My wife is a PE teacher and is quite physically active and it is perfectly fine.

I think this is the most reasonable advice. Zero Cater (or something similar) supposedly ran their business for quite a while off of spreadsheets, for example.

Mainly supporting the Right of erasure. I’m the PM working on it, so lots of talking to our lawyer, consultants, going through all the db fields, etc. If you are a SaaS provider then GDPR is table stakes now.

Punishment has many purposes - for those who believe that punishment is meant deter and serve as retribution, it is in line with what they believe. For those who believe in rehabilitation, not so much.

Doesn't really solve the problem because people will just sell their shares in the fund to buy whatever they want as soon as they can.

Yeah where I live (the outer sunset neighborhood of San Francisco) it feels like half the stops are 2-way and the other half are 4-way. As a cyclist this is dangerous for me, because if I go through an intersection where I am not stopped bu

Here is the link to the video if anyone is curious: https://www.softbank.jp/en/corp/news/webcast/?wcid=s7ez7167 I watched the video, it is a bit trite and generic but not really baffling.

I have read the books on the Toyota Production System and it does not apply to software, except in a very loose general sense. Manufacturing is not at all similar to software because with manufacturing you are making the same physical thing

It has to depend on the nature of the site, right? E.g. if you are doing something that is bandwidth heavy then losing NN is going to hurt. But if you are only moving a small amount of bits anyway, then probably no impact.
