The forward button breaks if you fork. Perhaps the browser would be better to lay a breadcrumb trail.

Try the one tab test! You might find it's less distracting.

Looks like you can't determine the length of something like a web page with the unity scroll bar.

I notice this all the time with your 'normal' user. The scroll bar is quite possibly the most horrific unfriendly control. It's just too narrow. Those users that don't have that much control of a pointer, struggle with scroll bars and s

I use the side of the touchpad if needed. I'd recommend avoiding scrolling as much as you can. I prefer myself to page with the space bar - well at least on web pages. It's much nicer. (Shift and Space to go back up.) Scrolling is tiring

Are these OLED displays - is this a first for a laptop? I'm interested in any technology that makes it more comfortable to use the machine. Currently I read most web pages on my Kindle out of desperation.

I like bitmap fonts, but I prefer them not to be so tiny that my nose touches the screen.

Oh well, my old Mac keyboard crapped out. And my Thinkpad's is fine. I reckon though the Thinkpad's would be cheaper to replace.

Well I don't quite follow this behaviour. But thanks, I hadn't clicked there before.

I think this is an interesting point. I'm not sure how you censor your front page. I personally don't really care what's there, but you could quite easily offend, and scare people away from the service.

I might have misunderstood the product. I assumed (though this would be tough), that when you took a snippet of a page, and say the page updated later on - the snippet would reflect the change. You make it sound like the snippets are stati

That doesn't sound good at all! I guess they can update themselves automatically. Who vets the plugin ecosystem?

Thanks for that. So the clips aren't totally live - if you are sharing content that is somehow walled off.

I think this is a great question (privacy concerns.) Chrome instills fear into me when it announces that a plugin can gain access to my data (that's an instant put off for me.) I still don't actually get just what data a Chrome plugin has

Lovely sign up UI. And a very neat web app.

Wouldn't it be better to have email notifications turned off as default? That could get very annoying...

I can't remember there being a Tech centre there. Is this new(ish)? Coventry isn't all bad. There's some beautiful countryside around there. And it used to be fortified - an independent! It's just a shame they went all concrete jungle

Great article. My pet peeves in shows/movies, are normally around the fact that it takes more than a few seconds to do anything useful on a computer. And yet on film even idiots seem to command their gadgetry with aplomb. They should show

Yeah I noticed that too. Plus when I looked (followed the links), the only Chromebooks on Amazon UK were Acer versions with Atom CPUs.

I must admit I was a little disappointed to not see an even more simplified keyboard. A three finger combo (chord) is just ridiculous.

I absolutely love the home and end shortcuts. The one thing that does look odd with the Chrome shortcuts is the reliance on the Function keys - that as a touch typist - I find hard to get on with.
