I wish that my bank would let me set a message to pop up whenever withdrawals over a certain amount (or percentage) are made. If we can't be secure, I'd at least like my would-be-account-ruiners to know "LOL STUDENT ACCT". What would be eve

Please elaborate; I have only minimal experience with ObjC and do not use Ruby in the context of native development, so any well-described counterpoints would be much appreciated. Edit: I obv. didn't write your parent comment. What I meant

To be fair, every semester we were given a bill for the total cost with tuition "discounted", so it usually looked something like: Subtotal: $37,000 Amount Due: $1400 (student fee) I thought they were just making passive hints

I think I just found a new people-watching side hobby. Next on HN: Burgling across Brooklyn as hipster keychains "pic-pocketed" en-masse... I'm really looking forward to when I get the time to rig up my door so I can use my yubikey instead.

I'd probably want to kill myself if I had to drive through Atlanta more than once a year. I couldn't even imagine driving in/around Atlanta with any regularity. Edit: I'll add that in all my years of driving, thumbing, and general perus

Interestingly, most Japanese people I know do have their licenses– but do not drive. Money or access to a car isn't the issue either (disclaimer: anecdotal), rather they just don't want to drive. They all got their licenses because they t

I recommend F.lux as well, but I've noticed a very unfortunate effect over the last few months... because of how soft it is on the eyes at night, I've learned that with it enabled I can continuously work 16-26 hour sessions without even rea
