I saw this and thought it was MinecraftOnline that shutdown. MCO has a great community, and is pretty much the anti-2b2t. MCO is also German.

Most likely more effective data harvesting. Individual user level AI isn't the end goal I don't think. It's just a nice byproduct. This just means they can embed more data collection, and use your device to crunch the numbers

I only ever see this speak from people on the sending end of marketing campaigns. I can't think of the last time I saw someone say anything positive about corporate content. Personally, I go out of my way to not buy anything that I see

The dodgy AI product spam attacks have been escalating recently, or so I've noticed. I don't think I've seen this with any other product class here.

It sounds like this comes from a misunderstanding of probability and how it applies to physics. Can you explain what you mean?

> Genuine question - what does that phrase mean to you? Jumped the shark means roughly the same thing as "lost the plot". In that, the current state of affairs has entered into absurd territories.

Yep, exactly why this is not brutalist web design. The site behaviour is unclear and rather frustrating to use. The breaking of the back feature is also bothersome.

Confuse, conflate, insinuate, obfuscate. It's the way of psudoscience pushers and apologists.

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to engage in a hypothetical conversation about possibility that unimaginably small gravitational fluctuations affect brain composition to a noticeable degree.

You are being downvoted, but it is completely true. This is going to be used in the gurusphere in the way Deepak Chopra abuses the language of quantum physics to justify quackery. While things like this are always interesting, part of me ca

You do realize dang is the moderator for this website, right? You're getting a universal negative reaction to your comment, and it has been flagged to dead. Maybe reflect on that and consider that you might be in the wrong here. If you

Please don't do that, it's no-effort posting. If everyone started posting AI generated comments, this site would become worthless really quickly. Part of why I come here is to avoid the AI and botspam junk that's taking over

In Canada, at least, you have to go to specific stores that only sell either alcohol, or cannabis. So the just having a bill from there would be enough.

Of course, that's the obvious way to prove it. But it _would_ require you to be Satoshi, which he is not. Frankly, the fact he has not done that should be damning enough.

I knew a guy who worked in Finance. Whenever he would buy alcohol, or cannabis (legal where I lived) he would only pay cash. His concern was that, if his credit card usage data were sold, it could increase his premiums.

It's not on Threads itself, it's the promotion in Instagram for threads. I suspect they're just displaying the top posts of the day. Always political, today they were all about the "Iowa Caucus".
