I would have to second the developer problem. You can have a perfect cross platform UI toolkit, but if the developer doesn't take effort to make it fit everywhere it becomes off. A simple example was message box's. Qt has the ability for

"$700 million worth of charges" Visa only gets 2-5% of the charge. Lets assume on the high end at 5% we are talking about only 35 million in income. Even doubling that for the second week we get 70 million (before costs). How is that the

Unlike most filesystems, the windows filesystem doesn't allow you to overwrite files that are open. To be 100% sure that you can install all your files everyone checks the box that says require a reboot and install on startup when the file

Why would a so called "10X" person work 70+ hours? If you think a 10X person is someone who will live at the office you believe in working harder, not smarter and the other office that hires the guy that works 20hours, but is actually a 10

Nonless you are still wrong to say that "Apple created WebKit" as the WebKit source code was a fork from the KTHML source code.

Safari for Windows came out in summer of 2007, Google Chrome came out in September of 2008. Granted Chrome development started in 2006ish which was probably around the time Safari for Windows started. By the time Safari for windows was re

My impression was that one of the primary drive of having Safari on Windows back in the day was to get more users exposed to WebKit and to gives developers on windows a way to test there sites. With Google Chrome on mac/windows/linux that

It would be interesting if you could hook up with a site like redfin or whatnot to embed that on their site so when you are looking at a house it automatically fills in all the data it knows about.
