We produce a web-audio app (does recording). Apple has made it almost impossible for this to work as a web app on the iPhone (no officially blessed way to record in the browser). So we support computer browsers and Android with browser.

I noticed this myself on Baidu maps a couple of years ago. Browsing around Xinjiang with a friend, we discovered a weird conical structure constructed of tiles. Also found lots of roadblocks in the region (those weren't hidden).

Totally agree. I find video is ok for initial meetings, but after that I vastly prefer audio-only, for small groups. Works well with inferior wifi connections in coffee shops, etc. Using this for global discussions every day. Currently

My boss at Logo Computer Systems, Brian Silverman, produced a custom version of Logo with Life Game instructions included (implemented in 6502 asm for //e). This was never marketed.

I have also had good experiences with Lightsail. We use the Tokyo node for an app targeting China. And unlike the Amazon free tier (older Red Hat) you get a choice of modern distributions.

I installed GEOS on my father's C-64. I found it was surprising well done although not too practical.
