It's a british myth. 99% world population outside India doesn't care about cricket. A better metric is the average % of likes from ALL countries.

Sewing machines are great for computer people: you can train your fashion sense and motor skills(!) - most 'nerds' lack it :) Also it's an incredible women magnet :)

This webpage is nonsense. First example I saw was already wrong. COBALT BLUE is not known since 1830 but its ANCIENT. This webpage is some low effort english centric world and wrong and probably just AI slop.

Unemployment and forced downshifting. From 200k programmer to McDonald's worker and call centre worker in just 4 years... Its brutal. Once you are out at 35+ for an even year or two - it's impossible to go back. AI takes jobs fast

I think that there are actually mods for this game chaning the AI. Actually you can create your own custom faction using just config files and notepad - all out of the box:)

Why nearly all modern kernels requires 4MB as hardcoded minimum of memory? I remember runnning a.out(elf predecessor) based linux on 2mb if ram in the past for example (slackware 3 i think). This is generic question - not about Linux only

You are the right person to ask as you understand the core of the problem: Why all modern(ish) kernels require 4MB of ram as a hardcoded value? Is it because of the ram page size or what?

Nope . Software renderer. Quake 2 and Half life had pure software renderer for people who didn't have 3D acceleration cards such as Voodoo. It was slow but worked on ANY graphical card :)
