Some apps don't even provide a way to delete data or even delete your account. Some people that I have contacted about deleting my account on their app even told me that they never built such functionality. Facebook is on the news beca

I partially blame the Android permissions system. They are so generic you have no idea what you are giving permissions to. Permission in this case: "Allow INSERT APP NAME HERE to access your contacts?" Access what? Read access? Wr

Thanks for sharing. I've been forcing myself to be independent from a git GUI, and just learn the commands. I didn't even know that was a --graph option to git log.

It's time for a decentralized social network to be formed that's not guided by advertising money, therefore no need to collect data. The only platform that does something similar that I know of is mastodon... are there other alter

I bet you they are going to push AMP plus their Newstand App which sucks. The Newstand app is great for finding news., but not great for reading cause AMP butchers the content so often I ended up clicking on "view in browser" all

It's finally time to start paying attention to webflow. The thing with webflow is that as a developer you want to be able to commit to one platform that solves most of your client issue without having to reinvent the wheel. Webflow, un

This looks interesting... No pricing listed, but I'm guessing it will be between $200 to $400. My main issue with "smart" devices is the price vs the longevity. (Cameras + bulbs + switches + doors + sensors) * how many rooms

You are comparing apples to pineapples. Medium does one thing, while WP, for better or for worse, does anything you want. WP is not just a blogging platform, it's a development stack.
