I'd say the biggest reason for this is that Android is still being updated while webOS probably isn't going to change much in the future. So far webOS is my favourite tablet OS though.

This feels like it could go on and on. These are not secrets either. And this is not for all software engineers, just for those who need to design web pages.

Check these sites: http://www.tz10.co.uk/touchpad/ I think I got one from Comet but it's hard to know even if I paid for it, demand has been huge and sites are being down seconds after they lower the price. Also, people are buying them at

Just in case anyone's looking for an alternative, you can try the similiar Screen Capture by Google: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cpngackimfmofbokmj...

There are many reasons why you shouldn't just ship and with tablets like the TouchPad there are at least two good reasons: the hardware (for the reasons you said) and the price (which is expensive for something that is not unique or particu

Maybe they are reading too much Hacker News and the "ship ship ship" we preach over here. I know I have heard some companies thinking like that without realising it's not the best strategy for every company.

Found via Quora ( http://www.quora.com/Typekit/What-are-the-best-Typekit-fonts... ) that "all of the fonts tagged with "paragraph" have been hand-hinted to perform well, even in the most unforgiving environment ( cough Win XP cough )" as

Very interesting. I expect Apple to keep the same camera for the upcoming iPhone (4S?) and not improving it that much for iPhone 5 (to be released one year from now?) which I guess would lower the camera's price. I also expect the other man

Nice read. I am very curious about iPad apps and their revenue, some time ago I asked around here about the profit ratio between the iPhone and the iPad for those apps focused on both platforms but I got no response and I did get some upvot

Oh, I was (like the article) assuming you would concatenate both words (add a space or something else in between if you want) and it would be all stored in just one field. What about it?

I always thought using two password fields with simple words would be much harder to break than one field only (which can be used to really strange passwords but also for simples ones as we all know). Someone care to calculate how much it w

If we assume old browsers won't have new versions and newer browsers will be getting closer to the standard then I don't think you need to keep updating your code. Old simple CSS code usually works great on newer versions.

It's slower, right? I remember some years ago it would take like 5 seconds on this kind of big web app to show me the newer version of the file I just changed.

You need that many to understand the basics of the algo behind it? If that's how you debug your code than you might need to learn some better ways to do it...

I understand but that's like saying you won't be using Google because they didn't explain the algo. Or you won't try the iPhone because they don't explain the algo that makes it scroll so gently. And so on. It's free, you can try it if you

Why can't you try it instead? It's free... There's at least some work by the algo to recognise different moments of the same day, I still need to upload more pictures to try to understand it correctly.

Why is a package manager useful? (I really don't know what's wrong with the default environment of OSX, if there's anything wrong at all.)

Went full-time when 2010 began and stayed like that for one year. As it didn't work, got myself a new job and it became again a side project while I'm saving some money to go full-time again with a new strategy. I'm so glad I've been able t
