For me, it's a combination of always ensuring my sinuses stay open and proper head placement for the mask to stay tight. Google "ayr gel" - I use the gel specifically. In dry periods or for congestion, that seems to (often) b

Naming stuff after the discoverer/scientist/etc absolutely is a thing across every discipline I’ve ran into.

The interruptions absolutely do add up. My suspicion too is office bound work probably suffers from work being added on amounting to whole other jobs. Every job I’ve had as a professional has been essentially multiple jobs not reflected in

Partially, those imaginary numbers offer ways to embed more geometric/topological reasoning into the number system than being imaginary. Like how adding the point at infinity makes the 2d plane more like a sphere.

Those diets also didn't have added sugars and salts to everything. It's serious work requiring reading all the nutrition labels to get groceries sans questionable additives in the US.

I've heard similar reports. I've also directly suffered very malignant management in the past before covid. We're talking people who were outright awful to the business and some who were ultimately fired. There needs to be be

Couldn’t agree more! “Leave the ego behind when getting behind the wheel.” Is a sort of mantra I often repeat. Having said that though, I wish we were discussing how to incentivize smaller vehicles or less mixing of huge differences in size

Wouldn’t you need 400k units for 3-4 billion with that income per household? I suppose on the ocean would be interesting if it were tied with some desalination and generally using the ocean sustainably. One way to kick that sort of thing of

It definitely requires a culture level buy-in. Maybe places already having high density populations could birth such a project. But that’s a catch22 itself.

You can get them with 10g Ethernet too. This or one of the MacBook Airs is more than enough for testing. Unless OPs electron app is doing something seriously computational that would want the best hardware possible. Ie a new AAA game. Does

You’re still doing a lot of home serving/IT there. I take your point and generally agree. Leave the major hardware to the actual data centers. Stuff at home should be either resume driven or very efficient.

Back in the earlier 2010s this was estimated (in an journal article I read) on the order of $16 USD per gallon of gas.

I think it’s time to fight back against the anecdotes against whatever point. There’ve just been too much bad faith and misdeeds done in service of internet misinformation. As you said, your anecdote isn’t worth much. Much less since you’re

Makes me wonder if there could be a market segment addressable here. If somebody wanted to burn their own CDs nowadays it’s never been cheaper, for instance. Perpetual hosting not so much. But buying a NUC and hosting locally is pretty affo

I think BA is more on the finance side of the house and may be lower level, depending on firm. I know there are PM certifications, but BA is more like MBA/MA or bachelors stuff. As someone else said, BA is a wider term.

I effectively have the knowledge and skill set of a BA. But tech was what hired me-always had a decent tech background, too. The BA side helps me navigate lots of things though. Helps at work when needing to phrase things to non-techies.
