I got it in June this year for the first time. (It must have been when I was at work as this was a period where I did little other than wake up and go to work.) I'm still masking and even wearing gloves and otherwise taking any/al

Nobody knows, of course. But heavier elements do get pushed up to a stars surface so they look more prevalent. This is clearly the sort of oddity stuff science and society should inspect with gusto. There’s surely much to learn there. I won

If I’ve got to use CC for video the point of the video is nil. Whole experience ruined. I probably don’t represent everybody but still enough.

*nix is clearly some IT equivalent of a very powerful idea. Part of good tooling is being able to point back to a history of stability and success. The other huge player, Microsoft, somewhat famously is tied to an unchanging user interface.

“A warm man can never understand a cold man.” From “one day in the life of Ivan D.” Telling poor people to simply make better choices is downright shameful. Close though is the “effective altruism” crap when it goes so far that even holocau

It’d probably help if it had a company like Red Hat offering enterprise support and contributing back to it. Knowledge certification helps a ton too. It’s all fun and games until the SME leaves and a company finds out how hard it is to hire

I’d sure be lost if I had to listen to the entirety of a manpage or dmesg output or /var/log/messages read out by voice. Some of those could take hours to read out. Nothing actually trivial about *nix command output. Just som

I really doubt *nix would have made it so far if the cli were audio based, too. It's a fundamentally slower and lower bandwidth communication channel.

I’m for it, but for adults too. Something’s got to push back against the road rage stuff. Plus there’s got to be a way to tell someone their ability to drive safely is questionable. It’s a skill that dies out over time with age. Seen too mu

And in true modern internet hell self-mockery, the page glitches out and I get a repeat of the end of it in a seeming scroll jacking. Then it glitched again and I’m back at the top of the page. Bizarre.

Exactly. I've had people try to enter my lane on the highway in my RAV4 Prime! Technically it can happen with any vehicle, but aging demographics sure don't breed confidence.

I really want this car but I live in a full size SUV or F150 and above dominated area. Kind of need to be on guard. Plus charging is still too rare to just go and not worry about accommodating.

I once had access (local grocer) to apples that were green on the outside and red fleshed on the inside. I forget the name and haven't seen them in years. Wish I could find them again as they were perfect for this time of year.

Polling has un-earned respect lately in the US. Is there any reason to suspect opinion polls are more reliable in the UK? Afaik people are just as shifted away from landlines there.
