Think ways to create incredibly small amounts of energy just about anywhere. Useful for a smart tag on a box of milk (their example). But they did say they would love if it were possible to scale up and point out that being a big reach. But

Nothing about studying space is “goofy.” Want to know more about theoretical physics at ever higher energies or smaller scales? The universe is going to provide the means to study that, not any human engineering project until we’re building

There could be a dollar figure that could get me to think twice. But it looks more like a Heavyside step function than a curve and significant. Like winning a huge lotto.

Construction fell off long ago (heard numbers like 40%,80% reductions). Which makes sense given construction is kind of the “marginal” effort of real estate - where interest rates would factor in most obviously. Regardless, it’s a decentral

Actually if it’s tidally locked a lot of complications could be involved. If the backside of it managed to be hot it’d probably imply an atmosphere or young planet (guessing) or maybe a recent flip (see link). All just my naive thoughts. h

Clearly riscv servers you design from the CPU up (with some very helpful software). Only to be replaced by the N types of computers that typically wind up being designed somewhere around years 3-5. To later be replaced by those same systems

One thing, we were taught in my math degree that knowing how to explain something many different ways reflected deep understanding. Knowing how to explain something once reflected some base understanding. Two different ways is much better.
