I dont know about other peoples SLA's but seeing as you're hinging on my simplified description my SLA provides 100% uninterrupted transit to the Internet and 100% uninterrupted electricity so if the power goes out it is still 'their fault'

The company where we host most of our servers has an SLA thats starts paying 10% monthly refund per 10 minutes of downtime that is their fault. I can't believe that you guys will take anything at this magnitude of downtime and still stick a

I prefer to load resources like Jquery using googles CDN and then pack my own javascript separately. Using something like HeadJS you can load both items non-blocking and in parallel. http://headjs.com/

Even if the site owner doesn't know that the referring url contained the search term "naked beiber pics" they still know you visited their page which most likely contains "naked beiber pics".

Nginx also has good http caching built in. I use it in a heavy load scenario and haven't had a single problem. http://wiki.nginx.org/HttpProxyModule#proxy_cache

If you are committed to promoting free expression why do you have a feature on your site that can obliterate mentions of a certain phrase? Would you have noticed that you "inadvertently" blocked all mentions of lamebook if there wasn't any

The on site video shows twitter and other sites. You're right though. I think I was more complaining about about site doing this facebook connect only thing.
