Phoenix is definitely production ready, as I am using it in many production systems now. 1) You have to eventually get into OTP. Elixir language is ok but all the stuff which makes it attractive is OTP and it's concurrency. If you are

This seems like a perfect case for something like Elixir/Erlang where you can spawn multiple processes and need not worry because of immutability.

I am a Pythonista myself and I use Elixir at work. Even though Elixir looks like Ruby, it has very little in common with Ruby. Elixir's syntax is very simple and it's very easy to migrate from Ruby/Python. Please try it, you

Actually Elixir and Erlang are totally interoperable with zero overhead. They both compile to BEAM virtual machine code. That "runs on Erlang" part is a selling point IMO.

Try Elixir ( https://elixir-lang.org ). Phoenix framework is awesome and working with it is a pleasure.

Maybe try Elixir if you don't like the syntax of Erlang, because it's really a pleasure to work with Elixir/Erlang.

I use may be 10 plugins. The speed is improved but still the startup time is so slow. May be I exaggerated a bit, but it will be definitely around 15-20 seconds for me.

Atom is nice but much slower than ST3. It takes 30 seconds to open a file while ST3 almost instantly loads. It's not worth switching from Sublime.
