Not just sexist, but also demeaning - as in cooking curry is some kind of pityful/shameful thing or something.

Does google (assuming Spanner) really use Paxos across WAN? My understanding is, it does Two-Phase-Commit (across WAN) over fault-tolerant objects (located in a Paxos Group). Paxos Group could span across Data-Centers, but there it just use

It seems description on 32399 could be misleading. I didn't mean diff-between-two-comments, but in-response-to-a-comment. Gerrit enables this by showing comments in-line even when we view diff between two MR uploads. On the left I see

Am I the only one who thinks gitlab is a poor product? They upgrade every week. Who the hell does that to paying customers? And half of their website functionality doesn't work when they upgrade -- but their upgrade-banner always says

My biggest issue is w.r.t multiple outputs (xrandr). It works as expected, but requires decent customization effort -- which I think is not for everybody.

I am using EXWM everyday for more than a year. It has hugely improved my Emacs workflows and productivity. I would put it on par with Magit :) It still has few rough edges, so may not be for everybody.
