Here's the problem...anything that can be done, will be done. And ads can be blocked online. It's just reality. Like digital music will be copied and secret government problems will be leaked and embarrassing pictures of politic

I don't think you really hate advertising as much as you say. You get to use tons and tons of great sites without paying money, because the good people of ADVERT_CO paid for your attention. Advertising gives you something you want, so

Ya'll, what amount of time do you find is enough for your streak? I am on day 11 of 1 hour/day working on a startup concept.

Very easily...if people don't have access to those services. Illegal immigrants, homeless with no ID.

I very much agree. Trying to find out more about Beacon, but there isn't much out there.

Yeah their landing pages leave a lot to be desired. I haven't seen the app directly. The UX of a QR code is a disaster. Stand back, hold up your phone, DONT SHAKE. It's annoying. But then there's the issue of having QR codes

Is QR code reading really going to be a thing? Can we please figure out a better way to interact with phone<==>world than to force data through the camera? Maybe Bluetooth LE.

cultural isolation is painful, even for introverts (I'm with ya). It's bizarre to watch people, and see them as fundamentally different, separate, and other from you. The chasm is tough.

Agreed. It seems like the market has spoken on Zynga, and even 13-year-olds don't like their games.

A 100 day challenge doesn't make sense for an established company (why would you do that to yourself?) But for a startup, it makes total sense. You're moving quickly, and 100 days is enough time to make substantial progress while

Does this make a difference at all? I've never heard arguments for CSS ordering as a performance issue. It seems like removing CSS that doesn't do anything would be time better spent.

I believe Facebook's ARPU is about $10/year. So even $1 or $2/month would make a big big difference. I guess the logic is Metcalfe's law means keep the barrier to entry low.

There is no problem with a service monetizing. It's a great day when a service like Instagram is finally sustainable and relies on customers, not VCs. But they had three years to think about monetization, and the BEST plan they came

This is broken on mobile for me. Cool demo, but what about devices other than a desktop browser?

On price point, I'm guessing $79 basic, and $129 pro. It's desktop, so unlikely to have a monthly model.

Deciding if this is the right tool for you is the first issue. I personally spend $50/month on Adobe creative tools, and would gladly pay for better tools.

Don't forget, it is fundamentally easier to coach someone than to act on advice. So the field for potential (good) coaches/mentors is relatively large. The famous/successful/rich all got very lucky at some point (in addition to hard work),

It's fairly clear in most cases, except Facebook's usage. It took me forever to figure out what was going on in Facebook's app. The much worse icon-fail imho is the "share" concept. http://cl.ly/2j1a40461E1B2U0X2W2q <-- Apple's versio
