I used the first code. I agree that the UI needs to be more streamlined. The "Add Reminder" screen is iffy to use. Other than that, great idea for an app!

Reddit's growth has been amazing. It gets a lot of hate because of users reposting content without giving credit, but it really is an amazing site. I used to search Google endlessly for sites to get, for example, help on video games or serv

Agreed. Beyond all the terrible things they've done, they suck as a registrar. I'm never using them again in favor of Name.com.

Exactly. If we say we're going to boycott a company and don't do it because they claim to have changed, that makes us look stupid.

Uh, yeah. A boycott isn't a boycott if nobody knows about it. If you don't want to join us, then don't. Nobody is making you move your domains away.

> If you don't like GoDaddy, or disagree with some of their policies, don't use them. ... that's exactly what we're doing. What, do you think we're firebombing GoDaddy's headquarters and killing its executives?

Namecheap. They're running a promotion right now, use promo code "SOPASUCKS". Have fun!

The Javascript SDK is atrocious. I was writing a small score submitter for an HTML5 game I made (for testing, mostly), and they clearly don't care about their developers at all as the documentation is completely unorganized. I end up having

There's no reason to use GoDaddy anyway. There are a lot of better domain hosts out there (Namecheap, Name.com, and more).

They really are an excellent company. I currently host my startup with them and I couldn't be more pleased. Glad to see they're against SOPA as well.

But now the question is whether this is just damage control or if they really support anti-SOPA efforts now. Either way, they learned not to fuck with the Internet (their customers).

Hashtags don't work here. It would be different if he said "Just saying..." instead of using a tag from a social network. Also, how does it leave "everyone with their underwear in a twist"?

I had all my domains on Name.com, I'm waiting to see what their position on SOPA is; if it's negative, i'll switch to Namecheap. I hate GoDaddy regardless of their stance on SOPA.
