Yes it matters. If the application handles sensitive data I want to know the engineers took it seriously.

Is the product anything more than a crud app? If so, no they should not hire them.

Lol I find the opposite to be cringe to be honest: people using chatgpt to write messages, emails, resumes for them, professional software developers vibe coding entire apps, talking about AGI coming from LLMs. Please. That is the cringe.

Only 11%!? Slackers. My team's project is 100% coding agent generated as pushed for by our dear leaders. Yes I'm very scared for when it all crashes down and really hope I'm not there when it does.

Stating "Software engineers are all-in on AI" because of an increase in github projects being created is hilarious. I didn't realise creating a github repo made someone a software engineer. If only I had known this I wouldn&#

>I am learning at an incredible rate with LLMs. I don't believe it. Having something else do the work for you is not learning, no matter how much you tell yourself it is.

Thank you for creating and sharing something that feels authentic and human made. No sign of AI vibe coded slop at all. It's beautiful.

Universal Basic Income. Or from the job they get after attending a government provided green tech retraining program. Which will both happen after the revolution. Which will probably be televised, on Netflix.

I think being a chef is a pretty future proof career choice. For AI to kill that profession it would need a very dexterous robotic body and the ability to taste, and it would need the special something that determines good taste.

I think we will have maybe 5 to 10 years of all this crap, devaluing human made art and human made products, vibe coding everything. But eventually it will all fall apart. Long term only a minority will be happy seeing AI generated crap eve

hehe imagine 10 years ago releasing a library where the functions may or may not do what you expect 100 percent of the time. And paying lots of money to use it. What a time to be alive.

I'm using codex latest model via copilot. Is this where you say I'm holding it wrong? Is it so hard to admit these AI tools aren't as good as they are hyped up to be?
