I doubt this. Opposing gay marriage makes you homophobic in my view like voting for Apartheid makes you a racist. There is no "I have nothing against them but they should not have equal rights". If you opt not to support equal rig

If you rent an apartment, you pay for it. If you use Gmail, you don't. Google somehow has to make money from something, so there is a incentive to mine your data. But the main point is: an apartment is not an information system. Throug

It is beyond me why people with a high technological competence use Gmail. I know it is convenient, but then please stop bitching that Google or the NSA will read your mails.

>Most people make the mistake that the DOM is a place you put things. I guess this is why Angular keeps the model separate from the DOM. That said, the virtual DOM strikes me as a really good idea I'd like to see in Angular.

Well I think we'll just have to disagree here. I think you are patently wrong if you really believe you can keep up maintainability of a largish codebase by appealing to craftmanship in a real-world company. This is all nice and well i

Actually, every IDE warns you if you try to use a deprecated method. They show as strikethrough in your source too. There are things like http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/deprecated-list.htm... a

It is strange to see Angular labeled "large" and "monolithic" here, when it was blasted for being too small and simple by one of the Ember guys ( http://eviltrout.com/2013/06/15/ember-vs-ang

But then again, is the comparison between Angular and React even a valid one? After all, Angular is more or less MVC with a lot of functionality for resource routing, component building whereas React seems like a view templating library. So

I only looked superficially at React, so maybe I got something wrong, but the HTML/XML intermingled with Javascript seems extremely off-putting to me, akin to ASP/JSP/PHP.

ES6 support with ES5 fallback, I am stoked. As to the mobile-first changes, we'll see - I have some reservations on using Angular on lower specced mobiles, for the $watch()-cycle seems to me huge drain on batteries. But since the Angul

Sorry, this is way too vague to be worth of anything. After all, a lot of the cypherpunks movement was in love with decentralized money, but only one gal, guy or group made something usable out of this.

You won't displace entrenched technology with an entirely different model, no matter how good. Sorry, this is just a pipe dream. The real competition for the web are the walled gardens of iOS and Android App development.
