Doesn't work in the current speed of development any more. Time to market is more critical than maturity, sadly. That's why every system can be fixed in software now, and that's also why every system can be pwned now.

Personally, I believe the problem is too few sensors. Don't make it 3 or 10, make it 10K sensors. If 10% are off, you can simply ignore them, and not even alert the pilot. Living beings have millions of sensors for most input and are a

Don't delude yourself, even the monogamous couple has to go to the hospital or could, via sheer bad luck, have contracted it from a former partner (I doubt you were talking only about lifelong monogamy). And the second comment, I don&#

Please dump it to your github right now. I have seen too many projects that never got cleaned up and simply died.

Does this have some kind of YAML/JSON serialization format so the result could be exported?

That actually interests me, do you have a Github? Background is that I am building a flexible frontend solution for databases with Bulma, and would like to configure it via YAML/JSON, but of course a drag-n-drop solution would make som

I know HN is not terribly fond of crypto, but I think KYDcoin is a project that tackles this very usecase (specifically for crypto devs): https://review.kydcoin.io/ They review dev teams and attest they have seen personal i

Honestly, it sounds like you now have a write-only site, as you will have a hell of a time 5 years down the road when the CI changes. Personally, I find the Vue.js concept much nicer, but even given that, I define my styling in LESS (SASS..

I have a /really/ hard time believing you wouldn't factor out a couple of POJO's from those properties that belong together and include them to compose your classes. Sounds more like sloppy data modeling.

Every transaction in BTC is secured by miners - that's the whole reason mining exists in the first place. If you buy it and transfer it to your wallet, some miner mines that transaction into a block (and gets rewarded for that).

I think your misunderstanding is believing users are locked into a crypto system if its implementation is controlled by a small group. They are not - if the developers abuse their power, users are free to migrate elsewhere and take their fu

A lot of BTC celebs didn't follow BCH at all. And essentially, L2 scaling as well as SegWit was shoved down our throats by the BTC Core devs. I don't see how that was very decentralized. OTOH, I am not strongly against it, as dece

To me, that feels more like a hidden contract. Giving away for free a software only to require the user to do the same. That's why I prefer BSD-style licenses - when they write "free", they mean "free".

I don't know, man. The average web page size is now around 2.5MB [1], jQuery is <1% of that. I am not going to be less productive to shave off 1% of total page size. If that means that some random satellite user has to wait 101s ins
