Got fed up remembering the URL for subnet tool websites, and most are kind of rubbish, I like this one... hopefully others do as well :) Loads still to do, main one would be IPv6... However comments/ideas are always appreciated.

I've put them in a few ISP's over the years, they do support multiple ASN's to be served from a single cluster so don't see any technology limitation there. The traffic requirements were around 2Gbps of peak Google traff

I'm aware of a load of hosting companies using the MaxMind service, you basically push them a load of information for a transaction and they reply with a risk rating. I've use it in the past a few times and it was fairly accurate

Go buy some cheap dedicated servers from places like OVH and create your own fairly simple CDN/Hosting. You could easily chop that cost by 70%+ Or is there anything specific in S3 feature that you need replicated?

I don't really see any alternative (yet) that can supply the functionality that the customers and business actually want, for example I like that I can add loads of things into a basket and then sort everything out when I'm ready
