Okay I'll add my anecdotal evidence, I work around the TV industry in the UK and nobody I've talked to uses final cut anymore. It's all either Avid or Premiere, with Resolve to do colour work on. Sure they've sold more c

The irony of the first ad I'm shown being a coffee machine with unrecyclable pods to fill it makes me both amused and sad. Sort of sums up the whole problem really.

At least it's not as bad as Apple maps which don't even provide an option for cycling. Sigh.

It may be silly but if something is unlikely I stop and remind myself: if something is a 'one in a million' chance, then it happened to 7000 people today.

This old tony - Well edited and often very funny metalworking William Osman - actually made me laugh so much 'biohacking' his dog that I nearly choked to death and to suggest a different vein to the other guy, shut up and sit down

I think you're missing the point here. These are people who are already here talking about leaving because of a climate of anti-european and more broadly, anti-foreign attitudes in the UK at the moment. I've no doubt the current g

I work on a market stall in London at the weekends. In my experience it's probably higher than that, you get given some really ropey ones but everyone just treats them normally because there's so many in circulation the banks don&

Absolutely second this, I love 'this old tony' and I have no experience at all with machining in the slightest. AvE by contrast is I think a bit of an acquired taste.

My father keeps bees as a hobby and he's seen the same problems with a few hives in a city that (presumably) doesn't spray pesticides. It's a combination of many problems, not least the big one that is the varroa parasite tha

It's not that hard to remember, but some sites (my last encounter was paypal) still insist on truncating passwords to a certain length. It's not much fun having to remember "My 42nd spacesh".
