I don't plan on ever visiting the US, especially with its current administration, but if I were to visit then I'd just take a £20 burner phone and no other tech. Anything I need I can put in to any number of cloud services and get

As someone who accidentally put a thumb through a table saw, this technology is awesome and I hope to see it become more mainstream.

Are there any HN extensions/plugins that allow you to tag users? I can tag garbage authors on Reddit with RES so I know to avoid their articles, it'd be handy to do the same on HN.

I'm just getting started with Vue 2, these look great and I'll definitely be downloading to experiment with.

I know it doesn't specifically answer your question, but my understanding is that a majority of 'we accept bitcoin' businesses use a service to translate it in to their native currency at the time of sale (or very shortly aft

Depends on the currency. Bitcoin is largely just currency, but things like Ethereum introduce concepts such as smart contracts. Here's an article explaining Ethereum, but obviously there are tons of cryptocurrencies now that all work i

Why anyone is still using AdBlock is beyond me, when UBlock Origin is available. If advertisers pay enough to AdBlock, they're allowed through as exceptions, which kind of defeats the point.

Which marketplace are you getting those fees from? I'm looking at Coinbase and its fees are quite a lot higher than that for using a Credit Card, and bank transfers cost a lot more.

I'm in the UK and I don't really find casino-style gambling fun, plus it's all over pretty quick. I agree there are plenty of ways to spend 'afford to lose' money, but I'm a geek and cryptocurrency piques my in

Is there an advantage to daily over weekly/monthly? It seems to me like w/m would make more sense as you'd get less fees?

I started reading up on NEO but found it more confusing than the rest! It certainly seems to have made a few early investors some $$$ on Reddit, however.

A friend of mine that does invest in to BTC and ETH said he "wouldn't bother with LTC" but I didn't ask why and haven't looked in to it, I'll do some reading up on it tomorrow.

I did think this originally, but I didn't really want to put much more $ in as it's 'for fun' more than anything, and $33 in to each didn't seem as good as $100 in to one, but I suppose diversification is probably t

It's a nice idea, and your UI is nice, but I hate the name as it's very forgettable and using it against my parents Airbnb cottage, and a friends flat, it is wildly inaccurate.

PHP + Laravel, maybe Vue. I'm only 27 and feel like a dinosaur for using PHO, but it's what I've always known and Laravel makes prototyping so easy.
