I agree with that, I just passed it off as "must be in beta or something", I have no idea what it does or why anyone would need it.

It's entirely up to you how you create the end product, but the thing with clones is typically they're a bit clunky and are designed to be a clone, not to be something easy to use and modify like WordPress. I have no exp. with Air

I would argue with this, a system this archaic and slow would put people off using it. I get annoyed when my eBay listing isn't visible within 5 minutes, having to wait days for someone to craft a HTML page would make the site unusable

I'd lean towards a, if you want to keep both, but if it was me I'd be going for B and specced up high as I can do all of my work as a Systems Administrator from my MBP. They're awesome machines and mine is coming up to 3 year

Even if this doesn't get added to HN, I'd like to see a plugin for this. If HN was in PHP and open source I'd have it done by tomorrow.

Two week free trial on an app this simple? I'm surprised there's no free version, it's just a glorified counter.

Looks quite cool, will download Pocket and give it a go. You say you use Evernote if you want to keep it, it'd be nice if a web app like pocket could clip plaintext permanently.

Looks interesting, would apply but I'm a PHP guy, avoiding Ruby and server-side Javascript like the last man alive in a zombie apocalypse.

I'm glad GitHub have started this blog, it's great when an organisation as large as theirs shares information about how they're tackling common problems.

I've always thought a job at CloudFlare would be awesome, so much so that I took their list of requirements for a SRE role and set them as goals to work towards. After reading this list of questions, however, maybe I should lower my ex

This seems more like creating an entire service from start-to-finish rather than an exercise on learning a language. I appreciate the authors are likely trying to do this because the exercise touches on so many different areas, but personal

We also use StatusPage.io at my company, but it's hard not to be offended at how expensive it is when you start adding certain features. I've been tempted to make a spin-off for some time now.

I work for the largest ISP in the UK Education sector and concur with your points. Also, the IWF system for us is mandatory and we purposefully have to ensure that if our systems are unable to enforce the IWF list they must stop serving req
