I'm not sure what was the use case back then, but today plus-sized 4k+ screens or ultra wide screens are commonplace. There's simply too much real estate for a single application window.

Can't say that I'm using Vim effectively, but at least the basic keys are fine. Basic movement keys are split into two hands. J / K (up & down) are still next to each other and are operated with the left hand. H / L

Aside from the initial load that all Electron apps suffer from, Insomnia feels pretty snappy to me. Granted, I only have a few dozens of API that load 20KB of JSON max. https://insomnia.rest/

You could just remove the colab demo on your home/landing page, that would help more people actually access your product. The demo actually doesn't show what the paragraph above it claims (customizable, extensions, artisan etc.)

My experience says hobby subs on Reddit are amazing though, and plenty of 30 or older generation. Used to visit leathercraft and bicycling sub daily, until real life forced me to forgo both hobbies.

The workaround my team uses is to make two entries to start the webapp: one for SAM, one for local. For fast iteration we just `npm start`, and when we're ready to do more elaborated testing we run with SAM. This works pretty well so f

I guess the argument was that you can write in JS (well, something that is close to TypeScript which is close to JS anyway) and compile to WASM, therefore the speed argument becomes invalid.
