I wonder if you've shed a little light on some dishonesty here. What if Wes, the intern, wrote Solitaire for Win2.1, then it got redone for Win3.1 et al. by someone else? That makes all of this somewhat morally underhanded. I thought I

Oh, TIL. I had no idea the WinNT source leak was nearly complete. I vaguely recall hearing something about getting the Win2K kernel to build, but I don't remember exactly what I read (I think it was on BetaArchive). Then there's t

I'm guessing this app looks cool; you might like to know that older systems remix it into glitch art like this: http://imgur.com/a/o3YVy I thought I'd give it a whirl on the old ThinkPad T43 I'm using

This is a really really cool idea. Two things: 1. I don't use Facebook. I want to, but I can't interact!! :( 2. I'm not sure if's still the case but I heard Japan has a culture around stories spread very similarly to thi

While basic, the tangibility and interactivity this provides would promote flexbox to a lot of people who would otherwise shy away from it. Definitely a concept worth throwing at /r/css, /r/webdesign, places like that...

Very interesting. For a while I've been meaning to explore the idea of infinite canvases within the context of UI engines - so you can eg have a scrollable region with infinite content in it that gets intelligently cached to disk etc.

Wow, this looks really cool. Two things. 1. Will this work in Express? I plan to get back into Windows at some point soon, Express is where I'd probably start. 2. Is the vertical function naming thing part of the engine, or did you add

I've been pondering how to attack the problem of making better UIs for going on 10 years now. Half the time I think I'm completely out of touch and that my ideas are irrelevant (with good reason), the rest of the time I wonder wha

I think the idea of just immersing oneself in a language is incredibly natural and intuitive, and sounds like the least stress-inducing of all the possible methods one could use. And I've heard that it works: plunge yourself into a lan

I've not tried it yet, but it gives me an impression very similar to that of Forth, in particular ColorForth. Very fascinating. I think the author would get along with Chuck Moore ({Color,}Forth's original author) very very well,
