With no familiarity of the subject, I see a lot of DCP player programs. What do you mean by "test it"?

That is insane. I added a pingback to this thread to the bug, along with some general encouragement that fixing this is a wise idea.

GitHub definitely needs to know about this due to their popularity and subsequent lowest-common-denominator status (which isn't a bad thing, just the truth); this sort of attack only requires a PhD in how to use the clipboard, and not

Maybe see if you can turn up old 4U or 8U chassis, and reuse them with old motherboards you have or find lying around. As another commentator said, airflow will be excellent, and you'd have lots of space for local disks too. If your si

I see, I just took a quick look around the Googles. I'm (somewhat) nearby over the water in Sydney :P I have no idea where I'll end up in the future, but if I ever see anything interesting I now know where to send it.

Very interesting! (I say this as someone interested in emulation in general, I sadly am not familiar with Burroughs equipment, although I know the name is synonymous with early cutting edge design.) Does this project have any sort of public

I understand that the Arduino is mostly a brand associated with the education and rapid hobbyist prototyping sectors, and that it's just eg an ATMEGA328 with a custom bootloader to make bricking the chip really really hard. I didn'

Ah, I see. I wonder if compilation for Harvard architectures is any more or less difficult than for Von Neumann. I'm guessing there are pros and cons with both. Thanks for mentioning that they're here for a good bit yet, I'll

I'm genuinely curious how popular µCs with 256 bytes of RAM actually are - the marketing for stuff like the Arduino and the whole IoT thing, while an annoying mosquito, is very effective at suggesting that the <1K scale is all but f

Assembly language is sadly not widely commercialized. I'm sure there are lots of vacancies out there, but the positions are likely incredibly specific and require a lot of specialized knowledge about a particular field. Both assembly l

That's perfect in every way except price. The CPU is 2.4GHz and 8 cores. It can handle 64GB ECC DDR3. It has onboard VGA since GPU support (which typically involves x86-specific initialization instructions at boot time) will be spotty.
