This is an egregious violation of privacy of the unsuspecting Chrome user who conducts their business while signed in to Chrome. To make things worse, couple of years ago, Chrome started mingling Chrome Sync and cookies for accounts.google.

There's an android app I use, called FlutterHole that gives you a one click way to temporarily disable the PiHole block. Under the covers it's using an API call.

In all honesty, couldn't this be a question to Amazon for anything that ever runs on any EC2 instance? What makes you not distrust any cloud vendor when they manage every bit of your information including keys.
