You can find a natural number that is bigger than any one natural number, but you can't write one down that's bigger than every natural number in the ZFC sense.

This is a racist screed. The only information available about that author is that they write for the linked site, a well-known white supremacist publication.

The skepticism about climate change is due much less to issues with the scientific community that than it is to decades of propoganda funded by people who fear losing money to efforts to fight it.

An issue that comes to mind is, ironically, authority. Who decides when a paper has been discredited? I can see all sorts of incentive problems with such a system. On the other hand, Westlaw is only cataloging what has already been decided.

For those who are unaware, there's a good reason to put this in Santa Barbara: it's already the home of Microsoft Station Q, a quantum computing research facility on the campus of UCSB. When I left the math department there in 201

It would be a lot more expensive than it is for Walmart to close a store. This is a large distribution center. Besides, this vote has gotten so much attention that closing it after they unionize would surely attract the attention of the NLR

I'm in the middle of a course of ECT's newer, kinder, gentler cousin: trans-cranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). The idea is similar. The brain is stimulated by magnetic pulses in place of electrodes, and there are no seizures. Eve

Outrage absolutely played a key role in the Civil Rights movement. There's a reason Emmett Till stands out in American history; the outrage it stoked among white Americans helped bring treatment of black people to the fore. Your take
