I'm from Germany but we do have those Sky Tickets as well. It's tempting but if you get both tickets (Entertainment and Movies) then it's actually as expensive as the real thing here. Plus there's always content that

Thanks for the insights! I tried out all the featured projects and they all have the "card" swipe. Reading your post I get why it's implemented like this. Getting as much in JS as possible. However if you push it too far you&

Always interesting to see how cross platform is evolving (this and also Xamarin update recently), wonder how the Google and Apple regard this. Anyway, I just tried out the Expo App on iOS and noticed that the back swipe animation does not

I would move to Japan. Maybe I get sick of the work culture etc but damn I loved the month I spend there. New Zealand would be great too.

I've been to Japan recently and saw all kinds of toilets. I encountered types like that as well and honestly it's not that difficult. I don't speak Japanese but you'll quickly figure out that the dots represent the water

Well it would be enough to have one proper client for each platform. On Android Conversations, iOS Chatsecure now with OMEMO as well. Desktop.. not sure. But to be honest, I think I'll prefer Matrix with Riot right now.

Wow, US incomes are insane! Germany €51k ($53.8k), no bonus. 3 years on the job, developer.

Actually I did the opposite. Just bought my first Macbook ever. And not even the Pro but a Macbook Air! I know, bad screen and all. But I wanted to get into iOS development and I couldn't justify spending even more. But apart from the

I still don't quite understand how these decentralized networks work. So there's no "global" stream you can take a look at? Only from people you added? Because from a privacy standpoint I'd think that it would someh

I've been using mailbox for about two years and am now switching to fastmail. The UI is vastly better and works great on mobile. It's also the base for the mobile app which mailbox doesn't have (well, the OX one). And that&
