Swift adoption had been dead long before the actual announcement. It's likely Rust was being considered long before this two week experiment with LLMs.

Well, AI fanatics aren't about longevity or maintaining things. The fact that the LLM spit out a bunch of code is good enough for them. Drive-by PRs and vaporware are their bread & butter.

Again, no one is forcing him to be there. He's breaking something on purpose . I think you should read up on ethics because this take "I don't like it therefore whatever I do is ethical" is juvenile.

You're not forced to work there and use those tools. If you don't like it, then leave the job. Intentionally breaking things is unethical especially when you're receiving a paycheck to do the opposite.

That's extremely unethical. You're being paid to do something and you deliberately broke it which not only cost your employer additional time and money, but it also cost your customers time and money. If I were you, I'd pro

I'm completely lost on what your position is here. You think the fishing expedition against the Bidens was actually kinda good but the Republicans were secretly positioning to only charge him with a gun-form thing that almost no one

Hunter Biden and the Biden family were investigated for years by Congress. They came up with tax and gun form charges. Why would that stop Dems from prosecuting all the corruption and treason happening under this administration? I'm

The sad part is that the $175B was already spent because the tariffs didn't generate a budget surplus so we literally just set it on fire and will need to turn on the money printer to give it back to Americans who paid the taxes.

That's not clear exactly as a lot of companies were eating the cost in anticipation of a ruling like this. It was blatantly illegal to use the IEEPA to enact tariffs on the whole world so a lot of people called the bluff... and they we

What public company is massively overvalued in your opinion? Nvidia right now is trading at 44 P/E which is higher than the S&P average, sure, but not anything like the dotcom bubble with a median of 120x earnings.

Valuations really aren't that crazy, but the incestuous deals between Nvidia, Oracle, and OpenAI might cause a decent correction. I'm not too worried about my portfolio personally. It'll be a small bump in the road and you&

Rust intentionally keeps its std library small and makes no promises about ABI; it seems to have resisted a lot of pressure to do the opposite from C++ fanatics. I don't agree that the C++ path is inevitable.

This comment really confirms the "everyone is twelve years old now" theory. "If there's crime, let's send in the army!" Of course you'd suggest that, you're twelve.

It's much easier to blame the out group for your issues. The US currently has a sizable percentage of people that believe ICE deportations are going to lower housing prices, for example.
