IIRC, his original destination wasn't Russia. His passport was revoked before he was able to leave, which meant he couldn't make it to Latin America. But yeah, I agree with your point about the Russian government political motives

Yep, although I'm living in a very conservative state and workplace, many people are questioning the 40 hour work week. Hopefully this becomes a reality in the next 5 to 10 years or so.
