Caring about people in a far away country is not a winning strategy. Showing that this admin is harming national security and risking American lives is what gets voter attention.

What confusion? "x years of .NET experience" is what I see and it should suffice unless your whole career has been in an archaic version of .NET framework then you should have no issues working with either.

Do other languages have a security model for this? I've always assumed that building arbitrary code could execute something in most languages. I think using something like the pledge syscall from OpenBSD in the compiler could be useful

Taking out any power infrastructure is going to cause significant problems, no? I don't think that's a national secret in any country. I get it, all modern intelligence apparatus is draconian but this take doesn't really make

I don't understand any of the justifications for a trade war with Canada. IIRC, Trump was fudging numbers by only including the "goods" part of "goods & services" so the deficit looked worse than it actually was

How so? Obviously this is ineffective at the package level but if the thing spawning these processes, like the GitHub runners or Node itself added support to enter a "restricted" mode and pledged then that would help, no?

OpenBSDs pledge[0] system call is aimed at helping with this. Although, it's more of a defense-in-depth measure on the maintainers part and not the user. > The pledge() system call forces the current process into a restricted-servic
