The RÉSO is pretty nice, its main part connects between 6 subway stations under downtown: Lucien L'Allier, Bonaventure (with its bus and railway station), Square-Victoria, Place d'Armes, McGill and Peel. It connects directly to sh

If it succeeds (and I think it will), I hope other cities will take example on this. The rules seems reasonable: no through traffic but local traffic and deliveries permitted, and Paris has an extremely dense subway.

The lack of options for 27 inch 5K monitors is disappointing. There is nothing cheaper than the old Ultrafine 5K.

You're right, the power of Inkscape is its ability to work natively with SVG capabilities and its technical aspects (instead of some obscure proprietary format). Affinity is more artist-focused.

Affinity Designer is a pretty good tool for vector drawings (for 55$ unique payment). It fills the gap between Inkscape and Illustrator.

Some big companies (Amazon or Apple) breaks the law by offering a free month of Prime or Apple Music in Quebec.

Computer Modern is too thin for laser printers and uncomfortable on computers screens (low or hi-DPI). I feel it less readable than Garamond for French publications.

I grew up with french plugs (compatible with schuko) and I’m very careful when I’m using US plugs and outlets. The fact that a plugged appliance can have visible metal prongs is terrifying.
