My opinion. 1. Most professional investors are overwhelmed by proposals. Not lack of it. 2. Even on seed level, i'm not sure if i want to invest in a company through social network. I would prefer something more personal if i want to pick a

I try to click around and read few times, but, it's very hard for me to get the idea on "why i should use it". Maybe this high-concept pitch needs some reword. "Share your info with a single text message!". IMO, it's everything, and, it's n

It surely looks great for eye-candy. But, not sure if it is useful though for anything real. I usually need some time to sit down and properly "digest" the statistics before we decide on anything.

No idea. IMO, they should send out acceptance letters. Since i'm on the rejected-camp ( http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=550330 ), i was just saying that, you still have hope to be accepted if you haven't received rejection email. All of

Funny as it sounds, if you got neither rejection nor acceptance, another possibility of 'lost your email' might be you're accepted. Except, they sent the first batch of rejection letters out first. Just my 2c. =)

Rejected too here. =) But, the disappointment feeling is not as huge as i thought it would be. Maybe the YC process itself has been beneficial in terms of helping us refining the idea, and also maybe because we have agreed to give our best

"If you keep inexplicably being drawn to something when other people wouldn't be, you probably like it". I totally agree with this one. If you do something that you love, it will just pull it out from you. Realize it or not, sometimes i see

My own experience and as i've seen with others, is asking a question of "what are you reading for fun / what magazines are you buying?". An example, i used to have a flatmate that work day-job as software tester, but, the funny thing is, he

I can't find any good experience with OpenID. I think it suffers from the syndrome of 'paradox of choices' It makes me think, if a programmer (someone that has actual technical skill) finds it confusing, what's the chance of common folks? I
