What is level 5? Just widespread level 4? Because Waymo is definitely at level 4.

It has literally been in San Fran for over a year where some parts are arguably harder than NYC.

It will be in major cities and that’s what the bet is.

by huytersd 3y ago
The hell are you talking about. Waymo is already there.

Having taken 2 dozen Waymo rides, it’s all it’s cracked up to be. Confident driving, feels safe, clean. I just hope Google doesn’t decide to just turn around and kill it one day.

Eh, I’ve done it a dozen times and it was amazing every time except the last one when I was expecting some bad news in the near future. If I did shrooms with my death looming, I feel like I might have lost my mind. Be careful, though I gues

The common knowledge amongst enthusiasts is that shrooms have a threshold below which you don’t feel anything and I feel like anecdotally I can vouch for that (though it’s been a long time and I can’t exactly remember anymore).

Ah I didn’t know that. How did that work out? Was it just flying in willing 16 year olds or more sinister like bringing them in against their will.

by huytersd 3y ago
Yeah I’ve seen people buy two batteries so you can just cycle them.

I can see a $2000 vision down the line but not as low as $500.

Ah yes, I see now. Yeah makes no sense to offer a REST response for each request. On that note, what would the processing entail? Processing the get request and packaging the entire dataset into a REST object right? Or is it a more complex

Have you seen the people under the fur suits? Someone is power would have no use for reality escapism because their reality is amazing. But hey, there always that really small chance I guess.

Epstein is a saint compared to a truly evil person. What did he even do? Him and his buddies slept with some 16 year olds from what I know. That’s not even a crime in most countries.

Did you forget to bring the red and blue pills?

Are you suggesting the government put their public access API behind a paywall?

by huytersd 3y ago
Yes, but I’m talking about in the wild which is what is relevant to this analogy.

I don’t know what your angle is but if plastic surgery is done right (ie most cases) you never explicitly notice it.

Aren’t lobsters immortal if they never have an accident?

Why specifically point out a sexual perversion. It seems like the least of the bad things an authority figure like a king could do.

Well the title is misleading then because it says fabs.

Good idea, methinks. Anything that brings chip manufacturing back home is a win.

Yeah I saw that. The article I linked to points to the tools found used as knives, scrapers, borers and axes. The only new thing I saw was the use of graphite but besides that most of it was already happening 350,000 years(!) before that po
